Tri Devi Installations are a series of artworks inspired by the Sri Chakra, exploring the essence of feminine energy through the forms of Durga, Saraswati, and Lakshmi.
The installations symbolize strength, creativity, and prosperity, reflecting the cosmic balance of energy and consciousness. Each goddess installation was crafted with intricate detail, merging ancient philosophies with modern craftsmanship to create art that inspires reflection and reverence.
The making process involved designing digital concepts, constructing 6-foot installations using MDF and aluminum, and integrating mechanical elements for movement and light, creating depth and vibrancy. Durga, the goddess of power, divine femininity, and motherhood, is armed with lotus, shell, and weapons. Understanding her divine form involves invoking her consort lord Shiva with the chant “Om Namah Shivaya”
Laxmi, the goddess of sustenance, wealth, and transformation, is symbolized by the lotus and elephant, representing fortune, self-knowledge, & wisdom. Understanding her involves delving into the consort lord Vishu through the chant “Om Narayane Namaha”
Saraswati, the goddess of creation, music, and knowledge, cherishes books, Veena, and pearls. Her music evokes a dance of light under the moon, and her reflection in the river captivates with simplicity. Scriptural understanding leads to enlightenment and connection with her consort Lord Brahma through the chant “Om Brahmane Namaha”
Chanting these mantras activates the three installations unleashing primordial music. The reversal of consciousness leads to the head of all sounds, ‘the ultimate Divine Shakti’, embodying total energy in the universe. Witnessing her brings complete bliss, as her energy and sound illuminate the installations, dispelling darkness.
